We found this and had to share with you guys! Burberry recently opened a flagship store in Beijing, China. Rather than having the typical runway show to display the new line that will be featured at this new store, Burberry took it one step further. They went for an innovative and artistically inspiring show by having massive images from the Burberry line projected onto the ceiling and runway. In addition to this innovative idea, Burberry decided to turn their models into Holograms!!!!!!
Edie Campbell, one of the six models who participated in the projection, told Vogue UK, "Virtual me is clearly much better than real me, though I've heard she's a bit of a diva." She added, "It was a risk because there was every chance that it was all about to go tits up backstage! A lot of shows can be very safe creatively so it's nice to do some that are completely unusual."
